National Museum of Natural History and the Butterfly Pavilion in Washington, DC

Natural History Museum, Washington, DC

Natural History Museum, Washington, DC

I love how many museums in Washington, DC, are free. It’s such a perfect opportunity to take the kids there and learn about anything from dinosaurs to art.

The last museum I took my daughter to was the National Museum of Natural History. We were on a mission to find the teeniest dinosaur … imagine how long that took!

She wasn’t too impressed with the hope diamond nor the rest of the gems in the museum, so we stuck around the dinosaur exhibits when we were there.
